During a participation in 1st international conference on water forecasting in Iraq held by University of Sulaimani, Directorate of Environment and Water, merged Ministry of Science and Technology reviewed evaluating environmental pollutants concentrations in the central marshes of southern Iraq, the nature of the water and agricultural policies of the Tigris and Euphrates basins and their effects on future water forecasting in Iraq. The conference highlighted implementing advanced technologies in water treatment, techniques of water quality and pollution and implementing remote sensing methods, GIS and sports models in the monitoring of surface and groundwater.
