Central University Committee in the College of Biotechnology, University of Al-Nahrain organized a symposium on the safety program in the educational laboratories. The symposium, in which a number of specialists and heads of the laboratories participated, aimed at disseminating the concepts of awareness, training on the safety and security program in the specialized fields and providing training on emergency cases in laboratories. The symposium highlighted implementation of safety and security programs in educational laboratories, providing work safety requirements in laboratories and identifying ways and business guide for laboratory activities and standards to achieve the standard and standardized working methods for all laboratories in the university.
