A lecturer in the College of Mass Media, Al-Iraqia University, Dr. Sahar Khalifa Salim participated with an Arab academic team in authoring a book on Arab media systems. The book aimed at exchanging ideas and experiences with specialists in the field of dealing with violence, various events and conducting coverage without promoting it or violating the ethical charters of the profession of journalism. The book reviewed fundamentals of media in the Arab world, importance of ethics, safety, journalistic verification, how to confront violence and the mechanism of spreading security and awareness in society
