College of Science, University of Babylon conducted a study on new bacteria of B.fragilis.
The study reviewed samples of women from Hilla City were infected with inflammation of the vagina that caused by the Bacteroides fragilis.
The study concluded that there is a significant relation between mutation and the disease as well as analyzing the evolutionary relations between local and international bacteria of B.fragilis
It is worth mentioning that the new bacteria were registered in GenBank.
