Babylon University: on Diabetes’ Genetic Structure Differences

A Master dissertation was discussed at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon on the differences of the GPX1 of the diabetes.

The study included studying 108 samples of 30-40 years old in order to determine the Enzyme of Talomrez and Gene of Klotatheon Baroxidz in their blood and comparing their level in the blood with healthy people.

The Study showed a noticeable increasing in the level of concentration of sugar and cumulative sugar for both males and females with diabetes and compared them with the healthy people (p <0.001) and (p <0.05).
