During a meeting with Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, Basra University for Oil and Gas reviewed strengthening academic cooperation, President of the University, Dr. Mohammed Helaiel Hafidh Al-Kaabi said. Dr. Al-Kaabi added that the two sides also reviewed expanding plan to open on the recognized regional universities in order to improve the reality of the university and the level of graduates to meet the needs of the labor market of the oil sector. Dr. Al-Kaabi continued by saying that the two sides agreed on joint scientific cooperation, especially in the academic fields to enhance the scientific partnership and achieve twinning in postgraduate studies and provide scholarships and fellowships in the oil specialties as well as benefiting the laboratories of the Iranian University and exchanging of expertise via joint scientific research.
