During a visit to a number of recognized Russian Universities, Moscow, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Qusay Al-Suhail reviewed developing academic cooperation between Iraqi and Russian universities. Dr. Al-Suhail highlighted the importance of cooperation in the field of joint researches and the need of the Iraqi universities for twinning with Russian universities in order to promote the scientific level and improve the quality of performance. His Excellency also reviewed the need to increase the number of scholarships and fellowships granted by Russian universities for Iraqi students to enhance joint research and scientific capabilities between the two sides, whether in the field of joint research, exchange of faculty members capacities or in the field of cooperation within the framework of reviewing theses and dissertations between universities of both countries.
