During a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Iraq, Mr. Victor Rybak, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed the path of scientific and academic cooperation between the two countries.

Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed that the Ministry and its universities are looking forward to developing scientific, research and academic cooperation with the Belarusian side and establishing positive climates for exchanging experiences, scholarships and twinning programs between universities.

His Excellency highlighted that the success achieved in the Study in Iraq program sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to attract international students to Iraqi universities.

For his part, Mr. Rybak appreciated the level of His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi keenness on framing global scientific and academic partnerships through memoranda of understanding, exchanging of scholarships and strengthening cooperation.
