Directorate of Quality Management, merged Ministry of Science and Technology held a workshop on methods of verifying the quality of laboratory test results via using the control chart. The workshop highlighted how to calculate the arithmetic mean for the results of the examination results, the value of the standard deviation, the distribution of readings of these results on the control panel and evaluate them and put the corrective or preventive action procedures according to the nature of the results and the test determinants of the standard specification (ISO17025: 2017). The workshop reviewed the nature of using the calibrated alternative devices to obtain sequential results and a functional check for testing equipment, adopting of verification criteria and work with quality control schemes, repeating checks or calibrations through the same methods, linking the results of the different characteristics of the material and making interfaces in laboratories.
