Department of Environment and Water, merged Ministry of Science and Technology organized a workshop on methods of achieving food security for individuals. The workshop, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, reviewed food security, the need to provide it with adequate quantities within the strategic storage in order to achieve the availability of commodities, food products and to be affordable to individuals to contribute in meeting the needs of food due to external factors such as dry land and war. The workshop also reviewed ensuring food health, safety and validity for human consumption.
