Department of Materials, merged Ministry of Science and Technology conducted a research on preparing emulsification breaker of the crude oil refineries
The research reviewed that the isolation process is the result of adding chemical compounds (emulsifier) to crude oil to break the walls of the membranes of these small droplets, collecting them in new form of larger drops and separating them via gravity down according to Stokes' Law.
