During a visit to University of McMaster, Canada on the freedoms and responsibilities of universities and dealing with future challenges, University of Kufa obtained the membership to the Magna Carta Observatory of World Universities, which included more than 900 prestigious universities around the world. The participation reviewed that the university will officially sign the memberships joining on the next year at the University of Bologna, Italy, while attending the Bologna Process conference that will allow the university to be the Foundation's ambassador to Iraq. It is worth mentioning that the University of Kufa worked for more than a year to complete the requirements for joining this academic gathering.
