College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk discussed a master dissertation on the response of sugar corn to levels of chemical fertilization and the type and levels of organic fertilizer by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Hemin Omar Abdullah.
The dissertation reviewed the extent of the response of sugar corn to levels of chemical fertilization and to the type and levels of organic fertilizer and the best fertilizer combination between the levels of chemical and organic fertilizer that leads to giving the highest yield.
The thesis concluded that the yield of sugar corn was significantly affected by the levels of fertilization, as the combination was by 50% of the fertilizer recommendation for chemical fertilizer and 4 tons of locally manufactured organic fertilizer.
