The College of Education for Pure Sciences at Samarra University discussed a master dissertation the quantitative estimation of bromhexine hydrochloride in its pharmaceutical formulation using various analytical methods by the postgraduate student, Mr. Samer Rafe' Younis.

The dissertation aimed at developing and apply simple, accurate, and low-cost spectroscopic analytical methods for the quantitative estimation of bromhexine hydrochloride in its pharmaceutical formulation by utilizing the cross-ionization reaction between bromhexine hydrochloride and eosin dye to form a colored complex.

The dissertation confirmed the feasibility of developing and evaluating spectroscopic analytical methods for the quantitative estimation of bromhexine hydrochloride in its pharmaceutical formulation, solvodin.

The dissertation demonstrated their efficiency through accuracy, compatibility, sensitivity, detection limits, and quantitative estimation tests.
