College of Management and Economics, University of Karbala discussed a master dissertation on estimating of the fuzzy reliability function for the Alpha Power kappa distribution with a practical application by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Maryam Sadiq Al-Naqqash.
The dissertation aimed at obtaining a new probability distribution that is believed to be highly flexible in representing real data via adding a new shape parameter to the basic distribution.
The dissertation highlighted that the maximum potential method estimator for the parameters and the reliability function of the proposed distribution (APTk) is the best estimator for all selected sample sizes.
The dissertation recommended expanding dealing with fuzzy logic through the use of other fuzzy functions due to the large number of ambiguous phenomena, as fuzziness is a solution to ambiguity.
