Center for Research and Studies, Al-Iraqia University held an online workshop on dentistry and criminal investigation, the Faculty Member in the College, Dr. Wisal Ali Al-Obaidi said. Dr. Al-Obaidi added that the online workshop reviewed the role of the forensic dentist in identifying corpses, investigating and finding the murderer via a fingerprint of the bite. Dr. Al-Obaidi added that the online workshop demonstrated the importance of teeth as they contain the enamel layer, which is the strongest tissue in the body, and that retains its features despite the changing circumstances surrounding it, which facilitates finding the DNA in the detection of the perpetrator.
