College of Arts, University of Al-Mustansiriyah held an online workshop on art criticism between journalism and academic work. The online workshop reviewed the concept of art criticism, its goals and types, the difference between journalistic criticism, which is characterized by impressionism and academic criticism, which is characterized by its commitment to scientific critical methods. The online workshop highlighted the role the music critic in the creative process according to the communication theory.
