A faculty member in the College of Science, University of Al-Mustansiriyah obtained a patent on using the hyaluronidase enzyme in killing the Klebsiella pneumonia in serum.
The patent, in which granted by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control Unit of the Ministry of Planning, reviewed that the hyaluronidase enzyme has a high efficacy in killing the Klebsiella pneumonia in order to reduce death in cases of septicemia.
