In cooperation with the European Union, University of Al-Qadisiyah reviewed with the Italian University of Bologna the project of developing departments of archaeology in the Iraqi universities, Dean of the College, Dr. Ahmed Tanash Said.
Dr. Tanash added that the delegation of the university reviewed developing the curricula of archeology, enhancing cooperation in the field of archeology with European Universities and implementing modern teaching methods such as archaeological geology, geographic information system, remote sensing, archaeological biology and archaeological geomorphology.
Dr. Tanash expressed the readiness of the European Union in developing the laboratories in the Iraqi universities and holding training courses.
