College of Medicine, University of Al-Qadisiyah, held a symposium on metabolic syndrome.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers, specialists and doctors participated, aimed at identifying metabolic syndrome as combination of health disorders caused by overweight and obesity that lead to cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
