College of Medicine, University of Al-Qadisiyah held its 2nd international scientific conference in various clinical and basic medical sciences, President of the University, Firdaws Abbas Jabbir Al-Toraihi said. Dr. Al-Toraihi added that the conference is an important scientific activity at the university, where scientific experiences from different universities meet to exchange ideas on developing and sobering the scientific research. For his part, Dean of the College, Dr. Aqeel Al-Barqaawi said that 70 researches in various clinical and basic medical sciences besides 20 researchers from Australia, United Kingdom, Turkey, Pakistan and Egypt as well as researchers from various Iraqi universities were participated. It worth mentioning that the conference included several topics such as clinical sciences which includes internal medicine, general surgery, gynecology, obstetrics and pediatrics as well as basic science, which includes microbiology, chemistry, phylogenetic, pathology, medicine, anatomy, family medicine and community health.
