Department of Applied Geosciences in the College of Science, University of Babylon conducted a study on the evaluating groundwater quality of some wells in the western side of Province of Najaf via using WQI technique.
The study aimed at assessing the quality of well water in the south and south-west sides of Najaf by selecting 23 wells to analyze their water chemically and physically.
The study reviewed that the water of the wells is not drinkable and needs treatments to be used for animals and irrigation purposes.
