Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage, University of Baghdad organized a symposium on the effect of punishment in reducing criminal behavior.
The symposium aimed at identifying the penalty through historical eras, role of punishment in reducing criminal behavior and the role of reform institutions in reducing criminal behavior as well as protecting community from crime.
