College of Agriculture, University of Basra held a symposium on the patterns of plowing and its impact on crop cultivation in southern part of Iraq.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, included intensive plowing , minimum plowing and cultivation without plowing , its advantages and the types and patterns of plowing such as moisture content, soil texture and nature of the crop.
