A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Pharmacy, University of Basra on preparing of Aceclofenac Nano-particles to increase solubility and give it a topical gel form by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Aseel Kazem Thamer. The dissertation aimed at preparing different formulas of a Nano-suspension of Aceclofenac by precipitation method via using different variables related to the type and quantity of the polymer and the organic solvent in order to obtain the most acceptable formula regarding the size and distribution of Nano-particles, as well as the preparation and laboratory evaluation of a hydrogel containing Aceclofenac Nano-suspension for use as a drug delivery system has a high release rate and improved permeability. The dissertation reviewed the possibility of preparing Aceclofenac in industrially suitable formulas and a suitable laboratory method with good specifications that allow increasing the solubility in water and the percentage of the drug available for the purpose of absorbing by the skin layers in a case that has been clinically evaluated to have better drug efficacy.
