The faculty member in the College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Basrah, Dr. Ahmed Jassim Hemoud Al-Maliki published a book on the atom in the Holy Qur’an. The book consisted of three chapters in 125 pages on atomic scientists, atomic energy and atom in the Qur'an. The book reviewed modern atomic scientific theories in the light of the Qur'an’s verses based on a sober scientific method of rules of common thought between religious sciences and applied sciences.
