Diyala University: On Green Chemistry

College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Diyala held a symposium on green chemistry. The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, included delivering a lecture on the negative effects of the industries and chemical processes on the environment and living organisms that deplete the natural resources included the negative effects of global warming. The symposium aimed at reducing the pollution of the environment, which is the emergence of a new branch of chemistry called green chemistry which appears in the early nineties of the last century that reduces the use of toxic and hazardous chemicals and find alternatives to the chemical processes that use such materials.
