Diyala University: On X-Rays Applications

College of Basic Education, University of Diyala organized a symposium on x-rays, how to generate the rays and their applications.

The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, included using x-ray radiography in the medical field to detect fractures of teeth and bones, locate the objects such as solid fragments or bullets in the body as well as detecting and treating malignant tumors.

The symposium reviewed x-ray as a kind of the electromagnetic radiation with wavelength of 10 to 0.01 nm and its radiated energy is between 120 eV and 120 kV.
