His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Abdul Jalel Al-Esa reiterated the commitment on improving university quality and academic performance.
Dr. Al-Esa said that the quality of the Iraqi universities is a tangible in the international rankings and the virtual library will enhance the assessment indicators in the scientific researches’ axis in a way that meets the academic institution's ambition.
His Excellency expressed his optimism on the progress of Iraqi universities in the rankings of QS and SIR and achieving advanced ranking in term of developing scientific research axis in Scopus’ databases.
Dr. Al-Esa reviewed that involving Iraqi public and private universities in the virtual libraries will enhance its researchers and their academic products in the international occasions, organizations and agencies in the field of publishing.
