During chairing a meeting of the Private Higher Education Council, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed the course of specialized educational services.

Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed keeping pace with the knowledge changes in the academic environment and embodying the qualitative response to the requirements of the approved educational policy.

His Excellency called for making the utmost efforts to achieve the mission and goals of public and private higher education institutions alike.

Dr. Al-Aboudi urged private universities and colleges to pursue academic twinning and work according to the requirements of the National Strategy for Education, which aims at improving the outcomes of the educational process and meeting the requirements of the labor market in a manner consistent with the current and future needs of society and the national economy.

It is worth to be mentioned that the Council highlighted the items on the agenda related to the secondment of faculty members, the assignment of university administrations, the course of the evaluation examination and the scientific research index.
