His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi inaugurated Al-Ayen University Educational Hospital at the College of Medicine at Al-Ayen University in Thi-Qar Governorate.

Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed that the inauguration of Al-Ayen University Educational Hospital will support the environment of medical education in Iraq with an important qualitative addition and will give impetus to the diligent work to develop the environment of specialized services in medical colleges in Iraq and provide what the community aspires to in terms of direct scientific impact.

His Excellency highlighted that these efforts would address problems and provide solutions to challenges and push towards strengthening the environment of the health sector in Iraq.

Dr. Al-Aboudi added that this important achievement is added to the index of achievements made in two years of the Iraqi government and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in terms of internationalizing higher education, linking academic programs with global variables, securing the path of the Iraqi certificate, international recognition of the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges, and increasing the balance of Iraqi scientific research in containers and attracting international students to Iraqi universities.

His Excellency toured the hospital, as well as viewing its medical and technical departments, laboratories, outpatient clinics, operating environment, and educational facilities that provide practical training for students in various medical and health specialties.

It is worth to be mentioned that inauguration ceremony witnessed delivering speeches by the President of Al-Ayen University of Iraq and the Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for the Inspection of University Educational Hospitals.
