During Victory Eve, Dr. Al-Aboudi Confirms The Victory Day Represents Firm Foundation Upon Which Iraqis Rely to Preserve Their Rights & National Gains

During the conference held by the University of Uruk on the International Human Rights Day, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi confirmed that the occasion and anniversary of Victory Day represents a firm foundation upon which Iraqis rely to preserve their rights and national gains.

 

Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed that this day and this anniversary represent one of the most important foundations that Iraqis have formulated with the blood of their martyrs and the vigour of their sons who made sacrifices and heroism and fought the battles of victory and liberation and purified the land from the clutches of evil and darkness and defeated the scum of the horizons forever so that the flag of Iraq remains proud and victorious over its entire holy land.

 

His Excellency added that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its universities are working to establish the necessary barriers that protect society via enhancing scientific presence, sustaining academic openness in the field of services and consultations, and providing inspiring climates for creating generations with a solid identity and supreme constants that make them fully responsible for protecting the country, its history, present, and future.

 

It is worth to be mentioned that opening ceremony of the conference included delivering official speeches by the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Iraq, the President of Uruk University, and a representative of the College of Law, as well as the conference attending by a number of representatives, ambassadors, university presidents, deans of colleges, representatives of unions, faculty members and a group of students.
