Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research reviewed that “According to our academic responsibilities and scientific missions in supporting relevant sectors of the State and complementing our scientific programs in keeping pace with the global reading of climate change indicators, the Ministry directed all its universities and concerned research centers to support its recommendations that resulted from its symposiums, workshops, specialized conferences, researches and qualitative events to promote revealing studies on climate issues and diagnose their impact on Iraq via an integrated strategic perspective”. Higher Education confirmed adopting of applied and technical fields to  produce projects, harmonious innovations and sustainable development in which Iraqi universities have achieved positive competitive results in light of the goals of the United Nations in light of combined quality education, climate work spaces, clean energy and sustainable cities.
