Department of Physical Therapy Research in the Directorate of Environment and Water, merged Ministry of Science and Technology reviewed adopting a mechanism for implementing the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO: 17025), Head of the Department, Dr. Natheer Jamal Imran said. Dr. Imran added that the adoption of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) will enable the laboratories to prove their efficiency in the field of testing and calibrating the models and their ability to give accurate and acceptable results at the local and international levels, as well as developing devices and equipment in the laboratories, calibrating them, distributing tasks for workers, organizing records of documenting the organization of management and accounts of uncertainty and conducting specialized training courses for the implementation of the articles of the international standard. Dr. Imran continued by saying that obtaining laboratory reliability, implementing the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO: 17025), exchanging experiences and performing procedures will facilitate cooperation among laboratories via increasing confidence in the accuracy of the performance of workers and results and saving time and money by increasing the volume of business and contracts in this field .
