During a meeting with UNESCO delegation, Ministry’s Deputy for Scientific Affairs and International Relations, Dr. Salam Hasan Khoshnaw reviewed the importance of supporting the reconstruction of the universities affected by terrorists in the liberated governorates.
Dr. Khoshnaw said that the two sides also reviewed the damage level against universities in the provinces of Nineveh, Anbar and Salah-Din because they were under the control of Daaish and the Ministry conducted rehabilitation campaigns to resume the educational process after the liberation directly as well as the need to develop a plan to rehabilitate the infrastructure of the educational institutions in order to provide a suitable university environment for students.
