During the closing ceremony of Jusoor project, in cooperation with the United Nations World Food Programme, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi honored graduates of Jusoor program and initiative.
Dr. Al-Aboudi inaugurated a job fair with the participation of forty companies and institutions specialized in providing services and training and development programs.
His Excellency stressed that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has the responsibility of providing all public and private sector institutions with qualified outputs for employment and recruitment.
Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed that the Ministry places its focus on the responsibility of expanding the horizons of this type of employment. Initiatives that pave the way for job opportunities and enable graduates to chart a specific path for their goals in obtaining jobs that meet their ambitions and suit their educational and academic achievement.
His Excellency added that universities are following up on graduates’ affairs through employment centers and are striving to overcome obstacles and contribute to many training programs, including Jusoor initiative, which represents an organized effort aimed at improving skill and development capabilities.
Dr. Al-Aboudi praised the World Food Programme, its international partners and the Iraqi universities that were part of the success of this initiative. Experience.

His Excellency toured the aspect of the exhibition, as well as reviewing that the rates of publishing are growing, the Iraqi scientific education in global capacities, the success of the Study in Iraq initiative, the adoption of the Bologna Process in universities, and Iraq’s obtaining international recognition from the International Federation for Medical Education contributed in raising the level of university outputs and gave impetus to cooperation with international programs to provide solutions and opportunities for graduates to obtain jobs that are part of a sustainable development environment.
It is worth to be mentioned that the closing ceremony included delivering speeches by the representative of the United Nations World Food Program and the President of the University of Technology, presentations by partners, and the experiences of several graduates of Jusoor Initiative.
