College of Nursing, University of Kirkuk held an online workshop on mental health and psychosocial support in light of the Corona virus crisis. The online workshop delivered three lectures, the first was by Dr. Youssef Abdul Mohsen on guidance and psychological support for individuals and workers during the outbreak of the epidemic, the second was by Dr. Imad Abdul Razzaq Abdul Ghani on the misuse of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and the third was by Dr. Abdul Karim Kheder Abbas on the effect of social stigma due to Corona epidemic. The online workshop recommended increasing health awareness of psychological and social aspects while caring for patients with the epidemic and ensuring cross-sector referral ways to facilitate access to psychosocial support.
