College of Science, University of Kufa discussed a master dissertation on using of spectrophotometry techniques for the quantitative determination of many phenolic drugs in their pure form and in their therapeutic dose by the postgraduate student, Mr. Basim Faisal Muhammad Ali.
The dissertation aimed at developing a method for drug estimation that is characterized by ease, speed, accuracy, low cost, selectivity and a low detection limit.
The dissertation confirmed obtaining accurate results for drug estimation and their application to pharmaceutical preparations for the proposed drugs and to the various formulations of capsules, injections and drops available in the Iraqi market.
