In cooperation with Center of Hematology, Technical Medical Institute - Baghdad, Middle Technical University organized a workshop on blood types. The workshop, in which a number of faculty members and specialists participated, reviewed blood components, their importance in the human body, types of blood and how to classify them as well as how to conduct blood transfusions and observance of safety conditions besides the most important devices and tools to complete the laboratory procedure. The workshop recommended the need to diagnose and determine blood types of the donor and recipient and recognize the patient needs of any type of blood components.
