The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Iraq to UNESCO in Paris announced that the electronic education and electronic examinations procedures which expected to be implemented by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research are meeting the recommendations of the UNESCO. The Permanente Mission reviewed that the UNESCO greatly appreciated the educational methodology and strategy of the Higher Education and Iraqi Universities to meet the emerging health conditions and immediate challenges in the field of education due to COVID- 19 pandemic and adopt the modern methods such as electronic scientific platforms that meet the plan of the UNESCO. The Permanente Mission and the UNESCO appreciated the exerted efforts of the Iraqi Higher Education to develop and continue the educational process, as well as focusing on paying interest in performing exams, supervising them remotely and correcting them electronically.
