College of Medicine, University of Al-Mustansiriyah organized a workshop on using ELISA device in the medical fields, technique of the device, the types of the tests of this device and extracting the results accurately of 99% as well as reviewing the methods of chemical testing and the most important materials for analyzing and testing purposes. The workshop, in which a number of heads of the departments and faculty members participated, reviewed that ELISA technology is one of the most widely used in the laboratory diagnostic techniques in various medical fields, especially in diagnosing viruses and various infections, conducting immunological and hormonal analyzes and indications of detecting various tumors, antibodies and foreign bodies.
