A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Engineering, University of Al-Nahrain on reconfigurable MIMO antenna design and performance evaluation by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Samar Shamil Abbas. The dissertation reviewed that due to the advancement of telecommunications technology, the only antenna structures operating on the frequency band are losing interest, so there is a need to use an antenna that can be reconfigured, using all bands, and reconfiguring by changing the operating frequencies, radiation pattern and antenna polarization. The dissertation that the antenna's modulation ability has the ability to adjust the operating frequency, which can act as a filter to avoid interfering signals, and the reconfigured frequencies provide multiple advantages to the wireless communication system in the future compared to traditional broadband antennas and multi-gate antennas.
