In cooperation with the Union Center of Media Training (UCMT), College of Media, University of Baghdad organized a symposium on the reality of live media coverage in the satellite channels.
The symposium, in which a number of specialists participated, included delivering a lecture on the importance of the field presence of correspondents during the media coverage, transferring the reality and the importance of providing advanced equipment to keep pace with the events.
The symposium addressed obstacles of media coverage of war correspondents and the importance of innovation and creativity in the field coverage by satellite channels as well as enhancing the role of technical and logistical aspects in live coverage of the Iraqi battles and events.
