Basra University for Oil and Gas inked a joint cooperation agreement with Petex Company to permit students of the College of Oil and Gas Engineering to use the IPM software of the company, Dean of the College, Dr. Firas Abd Al-Rasol Al-Badran said.
Dr. Al-Badran added that the Petex is one of the pioneered companies in the field of producing engineering software related to the oil industry,
Dr. Al-Badran reviewed that the agreement includes ten licenses for using Prosper, MBAL, GAP, PVTP, Reveal, Resolv and more software.
It is worth mentioning that the software will be implemented in the curriculum of the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering
