Department of Materials Research, merged Ministry of Science and Technology organized a symposium on blood types according to the ABO system.
The symposium, in which a number of specialists participated, reviewed that the ABO blood types consists of (A, B, AB, O) which common to the people as well as the negative blood types and subtypes of A, B and MN, KILL and YT.
The symposium also reviewed the rare blood types H which is one of the rarest blood types so called OH or HH.
The symposium revealed that the holder of the rare blood type H should be prevented from donating blood to avoid health problems because it will cause a blood clotting.
