College of Science, University of Diyala discussed a master dissertation on facies analysis and evaluation of the Mauddud Formation in selected wells of the Ratawi oil field in southern Iraq.
The dissertation aimed at defining the facies analysis and evaluate the formation of the Mauddud in the fields of southern Iraq, specifically the Ratawi oil field.
The dissertation demonstrated the analysis and study of the micro-facies of four oil wells from the Ratawi oil field distributed within the top and sides of the installation.
The dissertation the reservoir characteristics of the Mauddud formation based on the sensors of five oil wells of various types and using the Techlog program after entering the values of the sensors and performing some operations through which the formation was divided into seven regions for the purpose of determining the oil-producing regions.
