Diyala University’s Master’s Dissertation: On Preparing of Nano-Cellulose from Plant Waste & Its Use in Removing Pollutants

College of Science, University of Diyala discussed a master dissertation on preparing of Nano-cellulose from some plant waste and its use in removing pollutants by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Hawra Ali.


The dissertation aimed at preparing Nano-cellulose from cotton fluff and pear peels and use it to remove pollutants.


The dissertation reviewed preparing of Nano-cellulose from plant waste (cotton fluff) and (pear peels) instead of throwing it in waste and increasing environmental pollution, thus reducing environmental pollution to some extent.


The dissertation confirmed that the identification of the prepared Nano-cellulose from cotton wool and pear peels was carried out using the techniques of scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, X-ray diffraction and infrared spectroscopy.
