During a meeting and joint press conference with the Governor of Diyala, Mr. Muthanna Al-Tamimi in University of Diyala, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib directed establishing a technical institute in Baladrouz Diyala, Governorate and proceeding with the provision of requirements for the nursing specialty. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib said that the Ministry is keen on conducting a project to create a technical institute within the Middle Technical University at Diyala Governorate aims at adopting modern technical specializations that serve society. His Excellency said that the approved ministerial plan moves according to the monitoring of aspects that require strengthening scientific and technical specialties. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib highlighted that the Ministry directs to coordinate with the Governorate to cover and complete projects within the regions development plan and to agree to support university faculty members and its affiliates in residential lands. His Excellency inaugurated the attaché of the Cultural Center at the College of Engineering and the Justice Hall at the College of Law. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib praised the governorate and the university’s keenness on institutional integration and cooperation. For his part, Mr. Al-Tamimi confirmed the agreement with Higher Education on the plan of the reality of the university infrastructure in the province and joint work based on the principle of integration between state institutions. For his part, President of Diyala University, Dr. Abdul Moneim Abbas Karim reviewed that the ministerial delegation's visit as a mission, as it provided academic and procedural treatments for university project files. It is worth mentioning that the joint press conference was attended by President of the Middle Technical University and a number of General Directors in the Ministry.
