During a meeting with the University of Diyala Council, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib confirmed that the mechanisms of integrated, field and blended education provided an interactive environment in which university administrations, faculty members and students participated and succeeded in formulating and designing the input path and achieving the goals of academic programs. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib stressed on that the plan and objectives of the Ministry and its institutions are clear, specific and programmed according to well-planned timelines. His Excellency said that Iraqi universities have made their way in the field of competition with confidence by taking into consideration the international determinants, building and strengthening international reputation in the fields of scientific research and international ranking and interweaving academic expertise and experiences in the region and the world. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib urged paying attention on developing the scientific research environment, benefiting from modern technologies and employing them according to what societies need, responding to development requirements and overcoming agricultural, health and economic problems. His Excellency reviewed with the deans' proposals, visions and observations according to the specializations they represent. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib added that the meeting recommended adopting and activating the independency of universities in addressing the requirements of the scientific situation and formulating appropriate decisions.
