During a participation in the scientific training course on the mobile detection system (MDS) on nuclear material smuggling held in Germany and organized by US Department of Energy, Experts in the Commission of National Monitoring, merged Ministry of Science and Technology reviewed detecting and eliminating smuggling of nuclear materials and radioactive sources. The course included practical exercises and practices on techniques and methods of detecting the smuggling of nuclear materials and radioactive sources via identifying of fixed border entrances and mobile devices as well as how to use these techniques to stop trafficking in such substances.
